Engineering Supervisor | $25/hr

About the role

An Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for shift coverage and must possess strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Shift coverage in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
• Use a Windows-based computer system.
• Read blueprints and schematics.
• Manage all major building systems, including life-safety systems.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
• Show strong leadership skills and flexibility in working different shifts.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of building maintenance experience, with hotel experience preferred.
• A strong working knowledge of all major building systems, including life-safety systems.
• Good communication skills.
• Open availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in leadership or training preferred.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is an asset.

Qualifications

• 5 years maintenance / engineering experience required.
