Responsibilities
- Translate real-world needs into technical specifications to guide development and implementation.
- Develop and analyze Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Lead failure investigation teams to identify technical issues and propose resolutions.
- Develop and execute test plans and analyze results.
- Support the program manager with cost and schedule estimates.
- Merge systems engineering skills and modernization requirements to create solutions that improve system lethality, performance, survivability, and safety.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in an engineering discipline such as systems or mechanical engineering.
- Experience performing engineering analysis on systems and components.
- Experience deriving various types of requirements, including functional, non-functional, and technical specifications.
- Ability to run failure investigation teams to identify technical issues and propose resolutions.
- Ability to develop and execute test plans and analyze results.
- Ability to support the program manager with cost and schedule estimates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Nice if you have: Knowledge of precision guided artillery systems, including warheads, fuzing, airframe, and guidance technologies; Knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle; Knowledge of high-G design of electronics; Ability to lead Integrated Product Team (IPT) discussions and present findings to senior leaders; Ability to work in a dynamic environment; Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Our work model supports collaboration and engagement through virtual meetings and flexible work arrangements. Employees may be required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility, depending on the role and location.
