Engineering Project Manager
About the role
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing significant and complex product development and sustaining projects from ideation through to industrialization. They promote proper development processes and drive momentum within a global project team.
Responsibilities
- Plan and structure the project (scope, milestones, roadmap)
- Drive execution and track progress against objectives
- Manage resources, risks, and dependencies
- Report on performance (schedule, cost, quality KPIs)
- Promote development processes and drive momentum within the cross-functional project team
- Estimate project workloads and commit/hold a team accountable to the schedule, deadlines, and budget
- Foster collaboration in a global environment
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and define requirements, providing clear reporting and project follow-up
- Ensure quality by implementing a test strategy and correct qualification
Requirements
- BS Degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Engineering Project Manager in embedded systems required
- Experience with Software, Hardware, FPGA, Mechanical, Industrialization, and Manufacturing
- Familiarity with Positioning, Navigation and Timing is a plus
- Strong fundamental project management knowledge
- Ability to drive a cross-functional team without direct managerial responsibilities
- Ability to grasp technical ideas and communicate with non-technical team members
- Strong oral and written communication skills
