Engineering Project Coordinator
About the role
The Engineering Project Coordinator supports the engineering leadership teams by providing support for the development of publications for new and existing technical specifications, reports, manuals, presentations, procedures and other documents in support of new commercial nuclear reactor projects. They also plan, organize and coordinate technical activities/tasks in support of engineering deliverables, interface with external parties on technical issues, and coordinate with and act as a liaison between GEV engineering teams and our internal and external engineering partners.
Responsibilities
- Onboard, train, and oversee contract project coordinators
- Assign tasks to contract project coordinators
- Ensure on-time delivery of products and support
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with engineering managers, project engineers, and other stakeholders
- Plan, organize, and coordinate technical activities/tasks in support of engineering deliverables
- Support commercial and marketing opportunities to develop new business opportunities
- Protect the Intellectual Property rights of GEV
- Support GEV initiatives, process improvement, and simplification
- Ensure adherence to GEV’s standards for nuclear safety and compliance
- Streamline, integrate, and develop team technical information sharing processes across GEV and our external partners to better support business through application of Lean principles
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a business environment
- Proficiency in using computer applications, including word processing, presentation packages, databases, and spreadsheet packages
- Experience in technical writing in a business environment, quality assurance, engineering, or computer technology
- Experience with developing presentations from a variety of resources such as product specifications, interviews with technical subject experts, etc.
- Proven ability to be a liaison between organizations that are operating in separate geographic locations
- High performing individual with demonstrated ability to deliver results while exhibiting behaviors that promote strong team performance
- Proven interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to think strategically, be creative, and move quickly
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple demands and priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay
The pay range for this position is between $87,000.00 and $145,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
