People, Planning and Resource Management
Set up a team to serve the needs of the business, both from the point of view of correct organizational set-up and the continual development of skills and experience.
Define work packages and tasks to create impactful products and technologies, support the planning process and analyze skill gaps within the business.
Manage employee performance and ensure personal development of employees to build expertise, skills and leadership and ensure succession plans for key positions.
Personnel additions & reductions and ensuring the right blend of full-time staff and contractors.
Technical Leadership, Ownership & Accountability
Plan and lead system & technology development projects and manage their execution to meet team’s commitments.
Lead, mentor and assist with analysis & resolution of technical challenges encountered by teams.
Incorporate 'lessons learned' and 'industry best practices' regarding engine technologies, applicable processes, tools and standards into continuous development.
Provide technical consultation throughout business-critical activities to all stakeholders.
Effectively communicate and provide recommendations through the analysis, preparation and presentation of technical data to internal and external INNIO customers.
Collaboration
Promote an open & communicative environment, both inside and external to the team, to ensure ideas considered equally and with appropriate consideration of all CTQs.
Eliminate inefficiencies within the team by use of appropriate methods & processes, avoidance of duplication, minimization of work handovers and ownership of tasks.
Be supportive to the other functions internal to engineering and external.
