About the role
The Forward Engineering Team at Candid is seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role will focus on developing cutting-edge solutions to streamline medical billing processes and enhance patient care.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions
- Conduct market research and analyze data to inform product development
- Work closely with developers to design and implement new features
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes impacting healthcare payments
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in software development or a related field
- Strong understanding of healthcare billing and payment systems
- Experience with agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Passionate about using technology to improve healthcare outcomes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Experience with database management systems like SQL
- Familiarity with healthcare-specific software platforms
