Engineering - Drafter/Designer 4

Overview

We are seeking a Drafter/Designer to support a mechanical design engineering team in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. This role will focus on creating detailed technical drawings, supporting product development efforts, and assisting with documentation processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide drafting support to mechanical design engineers
• Create detailed drawings in SolidWorks that accurately reflect engineering design intent
• Apply dimensions, GD&T, and technical notes to drawings
• Develop exploded views and support assembly-level documentation
• Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Support documentation processes, including Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
• Contribute primarily to new product development, with some support for updates to existing designs

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, with a focus on drafting
• Ability to interpret and translate engineering concepts into clear, accurate drawings
• Experience creating assemblies, exploded views, and BOMs
• Familiarity with engineering documentation processes (ECOs, revision control, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineering teams
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant drafting experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with complex assemblies, including reviewing and resolving design issues
• Exposure to semiconductor or similar high-precision manufacturing environments

Pay

$30-33/hr on W2

Schedule

Onsite – 5 days/week in Milpitas, CA
