About the Role
Honda is seeking individuals with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and a strong work ethic to join the Engineering Development Program (EDP). This one-year rotational program is designed to accelerate the development of early-career engineers through hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to multiple areas of Honda’s business. Participants will work as full-time associates, contributing to meaningful projects while exploring various engineering functions aligned to a final role.
Program Overview
The Engineering Development Program (EDP) is a structured development experience for entry-level engineers. Through rotational assignments, participants gain broad technical knowledge and business understanding while building a strong internal network. Upon completion, associates return to their final role with expanded capabilities and a deeper understanding of Honda’s operations.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET or ATMAE accredited program. Primary majors include:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Industrial Engineering
- Electrical Engineering Technology
- Chemical Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- 3 months of relevant co-op or internship experience preferred
- Less than 2 years of engineering work experience
- Willingness to learn across functions, adapt to new environments, and build relationships
