Engineering Construction Project Controls Professional

The Engineering Construction Project Controls Professional will support accounting functions, reporting, invoicing support, travel coordination, and administrative tasks for various projects in the South Division.

Responsibilities

  • Aids in accurate record keeping and expense documentation for invoicing based on project managers or project controls direction.
  • Ensures invoices are prepared promptly with a detailed breakdown of services.
  • Supports project teams in document management, assisting in the logical creation of additional folder structures, usage, and document filing for all project areas.
  • Assists the Project Controls Associate as needed.
  • Collaborates with Project and/or Program Managers to execute project controls and coordination processes and systems on large-scale delivery projects.
  • Supports Project Managers in contract management, invoicing, document control, and collections.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in finance, business, project management, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
  • 3 - 6 years of related experience working directly in project planning, cost control, using MS Excel.
  • 1+ year of finance, accounting, or construction management experience.
  • Demonstrated team collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced analytical, evaluative, and constructive thinking skills.
  • Experience with Deltek Vision is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and practices.
