Engineer - Test L2

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Captures and analyzes information about materials and components for production.
• Drafts proposals for testing programs and operating procedures.
• Tests new products and develops systems to gather digital data during testing.
• Analyzes data gathered during testing and evaluates its validity.
• Identifies and resolves issues with new products by making adjustments or recommendations.
• Develops ongoing quality control testing procedures to be incorporated into the regular production process.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Seeks innovative methods to save time and money while maintaining the effectiveness of quality.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or at least two years of working experience as a Test Engineer.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to discuss product flaws constructively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Moderate knowledge of scripting/configuring using languages such as C++, Python, XML, CMD, etc.
• Strong architectural knowledge of general computing devices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare test reports and proposals.
