Test Engineer 2

About the role

Perform testing of complex systems using formal methods and various telephony and networking hardware across multiple platforms. Support research and development efforts through testing at different levels including baseline, integration, system, and regression.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test scripts for complex systems
• Analyze large log data sets and software test data
• Create and manage test cases and procedures
• Set priorities and adjust schedules to address unexpected issues
• Integrate new and old technologies into existing configurations
• Create scenarios for test case development
• Document results in clear and concise reports

Requirements

• Two (2) or more years of experience as a test engineer
• Strong Python experience
• Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline (or four additional years of related experience)
• Experience building and testing lab environments
• Experience with Jenkins or similar CI frameworks
• Experience with PyTest automation
• Experience with Git
• Experience with SPLUNK
• Familiarity with working in a Linux environment
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Qualifications

• Experience with creating and managing test plans and RVTMs
• Experience with creating and managing test cases and procedures
• Experience with creating and managing discrepancy reports

Skills

• Lab environment setup and management
• Agile project management
• Continuous Integration tools
• SPLUNK usage
• Linux environment familiarity
