Please note that only those inquiries concerning a request for reasonable accommodation will be responded to from this e-mail address. Additionally, you may also call 1-844-849-8463 for assistance. Press #2 for Newport News Shipbuilding. We need to remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. Also remove "Do You Need Assistance?" etc? That's accommodation instructions, maybe considered boilerplate? The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The accommodation request might be considered application instructions? It's about assistance for accommodation; likely considered part of application instructions. We should remove that. Also remove "Req ID: 49243 Team: E84 NUC PRP-TST ENG Entity: Newport News Shipbuilding US Citizenship Required for this Position: Yes Full-Time Shift: 1st Relocation: No relocation assistance available Virtual/Telework Opportunity: No - Not eligible for telework Travel Requirements: No Clearance Required: Yes- Final Clearance Required to Start" This is metadata; we can fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. We need to preserve substantive information. So we can include a short paragraph with key metadata: US Citizenship required, Full-Time, 1st shift, No relocation assistance, Not eligible for telework, No travel, Clearance required (final clearance to start), Salary range $123k-$154k. We also have "The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and may vary from the posted range". That's about pay; we can include in Pay section. We have "Meet HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding ..." That's about the company; could be About the role? Actually "About the role" is separate; but we have a description of the company. Could be "About the company" but not in allowed headings. Allowed headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We can put company description under About the role? Might be okay. Or we could omit if not fitting. But we need to preserve substantive information; we could put it under About the role as a paragraph. Then "The Role Synthesizes customer contractual needs..." That's responsibilities. So we can put under Responsibilities. Then "Must Have Lead Test Engineer (LTE) or Ship Safety Officer (SSO) or Watch Supervisor or Watch Officer Certification or Trade REC Coordinator (TRC) and Trade REC Oversight Agent (TROA) Certification and 6 years of relevant professional/exempt experience." That's requirements/qualifications. Could be Requirements. Then "Nice to Have" but no content after? Actually after "Nice to Have" there is nothing else before "Why HII". So we have no nice-to-have specifics; we should not create a section for Nice to Have because it's empty. Then "Why HII ..." That's about benefits and culture; we can put under Benefits maybe. But we also have a separate benefits paragraph later: "We offer comprehensive benefits including: medical, prescription drug, dental and vision plan choices, on-site health centers, tele-medicine, wellness resources, employee assistance programs, savings plan options (401K), financial education and planning tools, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, employee discounts, early childhood and post-secondary education scholarships, and more. Some benefits may vary depending on your specific division or work location." Thus we have benefits details. We also have schedule? Not given besides Full-Time Shift: 1st. That's schedule info. So we can include Schedule section with Full-Time, 1st shift. Pay: we have salary range. Thus sections: About the role (company description + maybe role summary?), Responsibilities, Requirements, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to avoid filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present. We need to output only HTML fragment, no markdown. We'll produce:

About the role

... company description ...

Responsibilities

  • Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints.
  • Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems.
  • Coordinates integrated testing activities.
  • Reviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test program.
  • Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.

Requirements

  • Lead Test Engineer (LTE) or Ship Safety Officer (SSO) or Watch Supervisor or Watch Officer Certification or Trade REC Coordinator (TRC) and Trade REC Oversight Agent (TROA) Certification
  • 6 years of relevant professional/exempt experience
Maybe also include US Citizenship requirement and clearance as part of Requirements? Could be separate but we can include in Requirements as bullet. We have metadata: US Citizenship required, Full-Time, 1st shift, No relocation assistance, Not eligible for telework, No travel, Clearance required (final clearance to start). We could put those under Requirements as well, or maybe under a separate section like "Qualifications". But we only have allowed headings; we could put them under Requirements as additional bullets. But we need to avoid duplication: we already have certification and experience; we can add citizenship, clearance, shift, etc. Thus Requirements bullets: - U.S. Citizenship required - Final clearance required to start - Full‑time, 1st shift - No relocation assistance - Not eligible for telework - No travel required - Lead Test Engineer (LTE) or Ship Safety Officer (SSO) or Watch Supervisor or Watch Officer Certification or Trade REC Coordinator (TRC) and Trade REC Oversight Agent (TROA) Certification - 6 years of relevant professional/exempt experience Now Benefits: we have the paragraph about benefits. We'll output as
  • items. List: medical, prescription drug, dental and vision plan choices, on-site health centers, tele-medicine, wellness resources, employee assistance programs, savings plan options (401K), financial education and planning tools, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, employee discounts, early childhood and post-secondary education scholarships, and more. Some benefits may vary depending on your specific division or work location. We can break into items. Pay: we have salary range and note about final compensation. We'll output as

Salary range: $123,000.00 to $154,000.00. The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role; final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors and may vary from the posted range.

Schedule: we have Full-Time Shift: 1st. So

    Full‑time, 1st shift.

We should not include headings for sections with no content. We have all sections. Now ensure we removed boilerplate: we removed the "Meet HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding ..."? Actually we used that as About the role. That's fine. We removed "Why HII" paragraph? We used benefits from that and the later benefits paragraph. The "Why HII" paragraph includes some culture statements; we could incorporate into About the role maybe. But we already have About the role with company description; we could add a sentence about values etc. But we can keep it as part of About the role. Let's incorporate the "Why HII" paragraph into About the role as additional sentences. Thus About the role paragraph: combine company description and Why HII. Company description: "With more than 25,000 employees – including third-, fourth- and even fifth-generation ship
