The Role

Must Have:

• Lead Test Engineer (LTE) or Ship Safety Officer (SSO) or Watch Supervisor or Watch Officer Certification
• Trade REC Coordinator (TRC) and Trade REC Oversight Agent (TROA) Certification
• 6 years of relevant professional/exempt experience

Nice to Have:

• Previous Fire Marshall qualifications
• Shipboard fire fighting experience on Large Deck or CVN platforms
• Able to qualify Fire Safety Officer within 6 months

Responsibilities

As a Lead Test Engineer, you will:

• Oversee and conduct comprehensive testing of shipboard systems and equipment
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards
• Develop and implement test procedures and protocols
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional/exempt experience
• Valid US Citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Fire Marshall qualifications
• Shipboard fire fighting experience on Large Deck or CVN platforms
• Ability to qualify Fire Safety Officer within 6 months

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this role is $123,000.00 to $154,000.00. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

Schedule

This role is full-time and works a 1st shift schedule.
