Apply Description Reports to: Chief Engineer Position Summary: Train under senior level engineers and gain an understanding of precast design. Urgency: We operate with a sense of urgency.Innovation: We embrace growth and change.Create Return on Efforts: We create positive results on all our efforts.Pillars: 1) Safety, 2) Quality, 3) Happiness, 4) Performance Areas Of Accountability To assist design engineers with engineering design services on assigned projects Responsibilities And Duties Assist more senior engineers on projects and learn the design processReview contract documents and learn how they are implemented in designs, drawings, and productGain an understanding of engineering designs, as necessary, including product design, product connection design, foundation connection design, supporting element connection design, and general lateral analysisAssist Engineers with erection drawing development as necessaryAssist Engineers with production piece drawing development as necessaryPerform checking duties on erection drawings and/or piece drawings as necessarySupport production activities as necessaryLearn how to use engineering design softwareVisit jobsites and production facility to become familiar with production and erection procedures Requirements Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills: Structural Engineering background, Microsoft Office skills required. AutoCAD/Revit skills preferred Education: 3 or more years at an accredited civil/structural engineering college.
