Essential Job Functions

  • Aid in the review of product designs for compliance with relevant industry standards.
  • Support compliance testing and inspections by internal teams or external agencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of compliance efforts, including technical files and test reports.
  • Help coordinate third-party audits or product certifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assist in updating internal compliance procedures.
  • Contribute to training and awareness activities regarding compliance requirements and best practices.
  • Conduct routine inspections, audits, and tests to verify compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and compliance documentation.
  • Aid in the preparation of reports for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) by investigating compliance issues and tracking resolutions.
  • Help coordinate third-party inspections or audits and prepare the required documentation.
  • Monitor regulatory databases and assist in updating procedures and documentation to reflect regulatory changes.
  • Provide support during incident investigations and risk assessments.
  • Aid in employee training in compliance-related procedures and safety practices.
  • Ensure proper labeling, handling, and disposal of materials according to regulations.

Scheduled Preventative Maintenance

  • Ensure all tools and equipment is calibrated per 17025 Standard procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Basic understanding of regulatory frameworks and standards applicable to the industry (e.g., medical devices, consumer electronics, automotive).
  • Familiarity with test equipment and procedures is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic documentation tools.
  • AutoCAD Inventor and Vault Minitab Adobe Creative Suite Microsoft D365

Education and Experience

  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
  • 0-3 years of relevant engineering experience.
