Engineer I, Business Analytics and Data Intelligence

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Data Warehouse Product Owner and Business System Analyst (BSA) to understand the business needs and collaborate to write user stories.
• Collaborate with Sr Engineer and Data Architect to develop data flows.
• Build data pipeline flow to load data from various data sources and apply complex business logic to populate normalized and denormalized data structure.
• Diagnose and fix data pipelines, data quality, and data accessibility issues.
• Manage and optimize data warehouse, data lake, and other data infrastructure components.
• Develop and implement data validation rules, monitor systems, and data lineage tracking to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Implement automation to streamline data workflows and reduce manual effort.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field of study from an accredited college or university, or 5+ years of professional experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in database development, OLTP and Data Warehouse, Cloud Data Platform, building and maintaining data pipelines, agile methodologies, and source control (Bitbucket/Git/Github), and software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in programming languages - SQL, Python, Scala.
