About the role

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. This position supports facilities projects and the engineering team in plant engineering, project engineering, or crane engineering.

The candidate will demonstrate solid knowledge of applicable regulations, codes, and standards. They will create basic electrical designs with minimal oversight from a senior engineer and have experience evaluating, maintaining, and troubleshooting moderately complex power and/or industrial control systems. The candidate will develop project execution documents for estimating and planning and implement electrical projects with team support. These projects support facilities engineering in power infrastructure and controls, building control systems, and industrial equipment control systems. The candidate must solve problems in an organized manner and possess basic MS Office Suite and AutoCAD skills (Word and Excel), along with clear communication abilities with supervisors, peers, and customers.

Skills developed in this position include a basic understanding of mechanical equipment and system interfaces with electrical systems, understanding simple mechanical and structural drawings, and basic knowledge of project scheduling tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 5 years of relevant exempt experience with a Bachelor's Degree; or
• 3 years of relevant professional experience with a Master’s Degree; or
• 0 years of experience with a Ph.D.

Pay

Salary range: $99,000.00 to $122,000.00. The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
