Engagement Strategy Lead

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Engagement Strategy Lead to shape audience-centered, omnichannel engagement strategies for DTC pharmaceutical brands, ideally with oncology experience. This individual will translate customer, market, and performance insights into actionable plans that improve the end-to-end customer journey.

Responsibilities

• Define audience segments, needs, behaviors, and priority engagement opportunities.
• Develop integrated engagement strategies across email, web, social, CRM, events, and field channels.
• Turn research, market trends, customer insights, and campaign performance data into clear strategic recommendations.
• Build customer-journey plans that deliver relevant, consistent communications across touchpoints.
• Partner with creative, media, digital, account, analytics, medical/legal/regulatory, and client stakeholders to align execution.
• Establish performance measures for engagement, adoption, conversion, and campaign effectiveness; use findings to refine strategy.

Preferred Background

• Experience leading engagement, CRM, customer-experience, or omnichannel strategy within a healthcare or pharmaceutical agency environment.
• DTC pharmaceutical experience required; oncology experience strongly preferred.
• Strong ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into practical, client-ready strategic plans.
• Comfort working cross-functionally in a regulated environment.
