Engagement Specialist

The Position

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, St. Patrick Center, is looking for a mission and values driven individual to join their team at their off-site location, Caritas St. Matthews.

Responsibilities

• Provides front-line engagement, safety monitoring, and crisis response for residents, visitors, and individuals seeking services within a residential campus.
• Supports client stability.
• Connects individuals to internal and community resources.
• Maintains required documentation.
• Promotes a safe, welcoming, and therapeutic environment.

Requirements

• Flexible schedule to work 24/7, including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Option to work either 7 am-3 pm or 3 pm-11 pm, with potential rotation monthly.
• Part-time position, working no more than 19 hours per week.
• Ineligible for benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Basic computer skills.

$18 per hour

Schedule
