Activities Director (Engagement Director) At Arbor Terrace Willistown, we believe every day should bring purpose, joy, and meaningful connection. We're looking for a creative, energetic Activities Director (Engagement Director) to lead engaging lifestyle programs for our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents while creating memorable experiences that enrich their lives. What You'll Do As our Activities Director, you'll lead the planning and execution of a vibrant engagement program that celebrates each resident's unique interests and abilities. Responsibilities include: Develop and lead meaningful daily activities for Assisted Living and Memory Care residentsPlan community events, celebrations, outings, and family-centered programsCreate and maintain monthly activity calendars and resident newslettersEncourage resident participation through creative, person-centered programmingSupervise and support activity team membersBuild relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and community partnersEnsure programs support residents' physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-beingMaintain activity supplies, documentation, and regulatory compliance What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who is: Creative, energetic, and highly organizedPassionate about enriching the lives of older adultsComfortable leading both group and one-on-one activitiesA positive leader who inspires both residents and team membersAn excellent communicator with strong customer service skillsProficient with basic computer programs and administrative tasks Preferred Qualifications At least one year of experience in activities, recreation, life enrichment, or a related fieldExperience working in senior living is preferred but not requiredExperience supporting individuals living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia is a plus Love What You Do At The Arbor Company At Arbor, we believe work should be meaningful, rewarding, and fun.
