About the Role
Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in aircraft engines and auxiliary power systems, is seeking a candidate with a passion for aerospace to join the Compression Systems Product Definition discipline. This position requires a highly analytical individual capable of multi-tasking and making data-based decisions in a fast-paced environment. The role involves producing data and documentation that accurately reflects component design intent and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to communicate requirements, metrics, and task status clearly.
Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) is responsible for the design, development, and in-service support of all fans, low-pressure, and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models, as well as the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products.
Responsibilities
- Work with a small team to meet and maintain program deliverables.
- Support technical meetings and assist subject matter experts in creating and maintaining parametric 3D models and related configurations.
- Work with senior staff to prepare and monitor program requirements, budgets, and schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Manufacturing field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to perform simple to moderate tolerance analysis.
- Strong NX modeling skills; experience with large assembly modeling is a plus.
- Strong communication and teaming skills.
- Familiarity with Model Based Definition.
- Experience with airfoil creation, working with UT & UA files, and modeling.
- Good presentation crafting and presenting skills.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $68,900 – $131,100 USD. The range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
