Engineering Drafter II (Onsite)
About the role
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and precise Engineering Drafter to translate concepts and sketches from engineers into comprehensive, buildable technical drawings and blueprints. You will utilize CAD and 3D modeling software to create simple geometric CAD shapes, complex surfaces, and combine them into large assemblies. You will create part and assembly drawings that meet industry and regulatory standards.
This is an onsite role located at US-FL-JACKSONVILLE-6061 BLDG 107, 6061 Goodrich Blvd, Bldg 107 ENG. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. An active and existing DoD Secret security clearance is required after day 1.
Responsibilities
- Generate engineering drawings for detailed parts, assemblies, and installations using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other CAD software in compliance with standard engineering drawing practices and dimensional tolerancing.
- Determine scaling, reference datums, center and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning while creating drawings.
- Convert initial engineering designs and redline markups into precise 2D schematics and 3D models.
- Process drawings through configuration, classification, and approvals.
- Work with engineers to produce drawings for vendor quotes and customer approvals.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- CAD experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance after day 1.

Pay
The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
