The Role
The Energy, Environment & Natural Resources Associate will represent clients on a wide variety of complex regulatory matters, including:
- Traditional and non-traditional utility rate cases
- State regulatory investigations
- Administrative rulemaking proceedings
- Retail energy approvals and compliance
Requirements
Experience with any of the following is highly desirable:
- Renewable energy projects
- Solar incentive programs
- Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
- Community solar development and contracting
- Retail energy supply agreements
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Approximately 3 to 5 years of energy regulatory experience
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Commitment to exceptional client service and collaborative teamwork

- Base salary: $190,000 to $280,000
- True 1,850-hour annual billable expectation
