About the role
The Environmental and Natural Resources Attorney position is available in multiple California offices: Fresno, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, San Rafael, and Walnut Creek. This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities
- Research and write on environmental, toxic tort, and habitability litigation cases.
- Manage case files, prepare motions, conduct discovery, attend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
- Work with a growing team, mentor junior associates, and develop a statewide environmental practice.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience in environmental law, including water and environmental litigation compliance and regulatory issues.
- Experience with Clean Water Act, Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act, Endangered Species Act, CERCLA, RCRA, State voluntary cleanup program, CEQA, NEPA, and water rights.
- Land use experience is a plus.

- CA Bar required.

Pay
The annual base compensation range for this California position is approximately $255,000 - $275,000. Placement within the salary range depends upon a number of factors including, but not limited to years of experience and professional skills required for this role.
