Job Role Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day high-quality, strategic legal advice to Business Line clients and Law Department colleagues on legal matters stewarded by the Company
  • Conduct and / or coordinate research into legal issues stewarded by or otherwise impacting the Company
  • Anticipate and take proactive steps to identify and mitigate legal exposure and risks consistent with Company risk portfolio
  • Facilitate implementation of proactive solutions to improve efficiency and drive effective business results
  • Interface with external counsel on significant transactions, regulatory matters, and disputes
  • Develop and enhance legal expertise and comprehensive understanding of relevant legal issues impacting the Company
  • Collaborate with Law Department colleagues across various departments and affiliates
  • Execute objectives in line with accomplishing Law Department Must Wins
