Endoscopy Nurse

Position: Registered Nurse in Endoscopy unit (PRN) Role And Responsibilities Provide comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for adult and pediatric patients undergoing GI and endoscopic procedures.Perform patient assessment, initiate IVs, and administer and monitor moderate sedation.Assist physicians during procedures while maintaining sterile techniques.Respond effectively to emergencies and ensure patient safety.Collaborate with the healthcare team and educate patients and families about procedures and care.Accurately document patient information and care activities, ensuring compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.Support a patient-centered and team-focused care environment. Qualifications And Skills Current licensure as a Registered Nurse.Experience with endoscopic or GI procedures preferred.Proficiency in patient assessment, IV therapy, sedation management, and emergency response.Strong collaboration, communication, and educational skills.Commitment to safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
