Endoscopy Nurse

About the Role

An Endoscopy Registered Nurse provides expert nursing care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients pre-surgery
• Educate patients and families
• Prepare patients with IV therapy and medications
• Participate in surgical site verification
• Recognize and respond to emergencies
• Deliver patient-centered care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Assess and document patient conditions
• Ensure safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Minimum one year of RN experience
• Associate’s degree in Nursing (bachelor’s preferred)
• Current RN licensure
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Preferred experience in endoscopy or critical care

Schedule

This role involves a 4-shift workweek with call responsibilities.
