Endoscopy Equipment Technician I

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing endoscopic equipment
• Performing or coordinating maintenance and repairs on equipment
• Tracking inventory, reordering supplies, managing storage, and maintaining accurate records of purchases, repairs, and expenses
• Serving as a resource for equipment use, troubleshooting, and technical assistance
• Supporting budget reconciliation and vendor communications

Qualifications

• High School/GED required
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) required
• Must obtain Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) within one year
