Endoscopy Equipment Technician I

About the role

We are seeking an Endoscopic Equipment Technician responsible for maintaining and preparing complex, delicate endoscopic equipment for surgical procedures. Under minimal supervision, you will perform specialized cleaning, decontamination, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of equipment, ensuring availability and readiness for surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory, reorder supplies, and track repairs and expenses.
• Assist with procurement processes for endoscopic equipment and supplies.
• Serve as a resource for operating endoscopic and audiovisual equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Provide technical support to surgical teams.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification.
• Ability to obtain CER (Certified Endoscope Reprocessor) within one year.
