Endocrinologist: Office + Hospital
About the Role
Prima CARE, a 180-provider multispecialty group in southeast Massachusetts, is recruiting a full-time Endocrinologist for its Division staffed by Fellowship-trained physicians and mid-level providers. The practice has a strong referral base of primary care physicians and other specialists.
Southeast Massachusetts has a disproportionate prevalence of diabetes compared to the rest of the state, and the practice also manages thyroid and other adult endocrine conditions. Interest in diabetes and thyroid disease is important, though any other areas of endocrinology expertise are welcomed.
The successful candidate will see office patients in the Fall River office and oversee hospital rounds at Saint Anne’s Hospital, largely performed by a Physician Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Manage office-based patient care for adult endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disease, and osteoporosis
- Oversee hospital rounds at Saint Anne’s Hospital, primarily conducted by a Physician Assistant
- Participate in Prima CARE’s continuous glucose monitoring, weight management program, and in-office ultrasound and FNA services
