Job Summary
As an Endoscopy Technician, you’ll play an important role in helping provide safe, effective procedures to patients undergoing GI and endoscopy procedures. Your careful work preparing equipment and maintaining a clean, well‑organized environment will help protect patients and empower caregivers to deliver on our shared mission to improve more lives in more ways.
Responsibilities
- Prepare procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verify equipment is in proper working order, and keep supplies organized and stocked.
- Help position and transport patients safely and comfortably while using proper body mechanics.
- Support physicians and nurses during procedures, including handling instruments, collecting specimens, and following proper safety practices.
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopy equipment, and keep accurate records for quality and safety.
- Communicate with kindness and compassion to patients and families, keeping them informed and supporting their privacy and comfort throughout care.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- High School Graduate or GED.
- No travel required.
- At least 1 year of experience as an Endoscopy Technician.
