Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior of community buildings and grounds in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment.
• Execute general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned.
• Respond to maintenance requests from community directors and residents in both private rooms and public living areas.
• Maintain positive communication with local fire marshal, building inspector, and other governing jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment.
• Ability to perform general maintenance tasks and respond to resident and community needs.

Pay

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience.

Veterans, transitioning active duty military personnel, and military spouses are encouraged to apply. Brookdale offers to advance fees for naturalization (Form N-400) application costs, up to $725, less applicable taxes and withholding, for qualified associates who have been with the company for at least a year.
