EMT or Paramedic (Full-Time)

Medcor is seeking a full-time EMT or Paramedic to work as an Onsite Health Technician in our employer-based, occupational health clinic in Oconomowoc, WI.

Schedule

• Sunday–Wednesday
• Sunday – Tuesday: 12:00 P.M. – 10:00 P.M.
• Wednesday: 6:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.

Pay

$28.00–$30.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Medcor’s medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure
• Provide patient care, ongoing workers’ compensation case management, Return to Work (RTW) program facilitation, and treatment plan monitoring
• Work closely with outside medical providers
• Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on-site clinic
• Deliver superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees
• Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols – MCPs)
• Build and maintain internal team relationships
• Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts
• Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings
• Document care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools
• Perform medical charting and case management

Requirements

• Valid licensure as an EMT or Paramedic
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong computer and technology skills (navigate cell phones, texting, fax machines, etc.) and familiarity with EMR software
• Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Positive and outgoing personality
• Passion for people and providing the best possible care
• Ability to have fun while maintaining professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment
• Relevant occupational health experience
• Experience in emergency medicine or critical care
