EMT or Paramedic (Clinic)
About the role
Medcor is seeking a full-time EMT or Paramedic to serve as an Onsite Health Technician in their employer-based, occupational health clinic in Willmar, MN. The position operates from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage health service functions and daily clinic operations
- Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s clients and employees
- Triage and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence-Based Medicine protocols
- Build and maintain internal team relationships
- Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts
- Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety, and environmental practices
- Collaborate with client human resources and benefits professionals on clinic issues
- Document and manage information using electronic medical records software and other tools
- Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings
- Perform physical assessment testing (PATs)
- Manage case management
- Comply with OSHA record-keeping requirements
- Perform general administrative duties
Requirements
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid licensure for the position and current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong computer and technology skills, including familiarity with EMR software
- Able to lift a 50 lb emergency response bag
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive and outgoing personality
- Passionate about providing high-quality care
- Willingness to go above and beyond
Plus if
- Experience working in a worksite clinic environment
- Relevant occupational health experience
- Experience in emergency medicine or critical care
Compensation
The compensation for this position is $35.00-$38.00 per hour.

Qualifications
Must be able to work independently, have good time management and organizational skills, have valid licensure for the position, and current CPR/BLS certification. Strong computer and technology skills, including familiarity with EMR software, are required. Must be able to lift a 50 lb emergency response bag. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. A positive and outgoing personality is preferred. Passionate about providing high-quality care is a plus. Must be willing to go above and beyond.
