About the role
The Center Medical Specialist is responsible for evaluating donor eligibility through physical examinations and medical history assessments, ensuring donor and staff confidentiality, and providing health education and counseling. They manage donor injuries and adverse events, assist in employee training, and administer hepatitis vaccination programs.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Current certification or licensure as an EMT-Basic, EMT-Advanced, Paramedic, RN, LPN, or VVN
- CPR certification
- Physical activities: standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and light lifting
- Good vision, hearing, and communication skills
Work environment
Applicants should be prepared to work in a biological environment with exposure to biological fluids and extreme cold, using personal protective equipment as necessary.
