Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Successful completion of an approved EMT program.
- Licensure / Certifications: Current South Carolina EMT certification. BCLS required. ACLS, PALS and ITLS or PHTLS preferred.
- Current and valid driver’s license required and must meet the requirements of the medical center’s insurance carrier. Must meet general hospital driving requirements and have a clean driving record with no moving violations within the last 3 years. Annual EVO education is required to drive during emergency situations.
- Experience: Minimum of one-year experience with a paid emergency services provider preferred. Two years licensed driving experience required.
- Age: Applicants must be at least 19 years of age.
