Lancaster County EMS is now recruiting new staff to expand its services. The organization plans to implement a new part-time and full-time salary increase effective July 1, 2025, and add an additional 24-hour transport unit.

About the role

We are seeking dedicated high-level staff who are passionate about providing top-quality pre-hospital healthcare and are supported by a family-like work environment. Our team operates in the fastest-growing county in South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical services to patients in need
• Assist with patient transport using various vehicles
• Conduct initial assessments and manage patient conditions during transport
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Valid South Carolina driver’s license
• Current CPR certification
• First Aid certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in emergency medical services preferred

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina and endurance
• Flexibility to work varying schedules including evenings, nights, and weekends

• Knowledge of emergency medical protocols
• Proficiency in operating emergency medical equipment
