Job Summary
As our EMT, you'll be responsible for the pre-hospital care and transportation of citizens in Breckenridge’s primary service area (PSA) and surrounding PSA’s as requested through mutual aid. Your keen attention to detail will show through equipment checks and basic maintenance of the vehicle. Additionally, you must keep records of the vehicle use and patient contacts through North Dakota (Wahpeton and Richardland County) and Minnesota. Continual evaluation and improvement of your skills as an EMT and our Service to the community will be reviewed regularly.
Responsibilities

- The ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to adhere to the physical demands
- Attend 2/3 of our monthly meetings and makeup any information/skills that were covered in meetings missed
- Respond to a minimum of 12 calls per year
- Contribute to the group in other areas such as scheduled stand-by times for high school games and county events
- Complete our service driving curriculum and driving evaluation, in addition to driving history review
- Provide a safe and skilled transport of patients to the appropriate healthcare facility, providing treatments and interventions as allowed in our policy/procedures
- Report any need for repair immediately to the director or fleet maintenance personnel
- Use proper lifting techniques and follow established procedures during the course of work
- Understand and follow safety procedures specifically related to job duties
Required Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Maintain EMT licensure with the EMSRB NREMT and ND license
- Have a clean driving history or history reviewed by management for approval
- Have a valid drivers license and submit where you'll work
Pay
$11.41 - $24.41 /hour
