About the role
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our dynamic team at Adams County EMS, a hospital-based emergency medical service dedicated to providing 911 response and inter-facility transports for both critical and non-critical patients.
You will collaborate closely with various agencies, including Fire, Police, and EMA, while navigating challenging environmental conditions such as extreme temperatures and inclement weather. You will also maintain professionalism in interactions with hospital staff, including doctors and nurses, ensuring the highest level of care and cooperation in a fast-paced setting.
Schedule
Full-time position with 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM) followed by 72 hours off.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Indiana State Basic EMT Certification
- Valid Driver’s License
- BLS/CPR Certification
Qualifications
Recommended certifications include ACLS, PHTLS, PEPP or PALS, NRP, and AMLS.
