About the role
Provides emergency medical care to patients in need.
Responsibilities
- Responds to emergency calls to provide medical care
- Performs initial patient assessments
- Administers basic life support measures
- Makes appropriate referrals to specialists or emergency departments
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EMT-Basic certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check
Qualifications
- Experience in emergency medical services preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and ability to work in physically demanding conditions
