Education Qualifications No education requirement Key Responsibilities Responsible for dispatch of ground transportation teamsFollowing flights during transportCommunication with referring and receiving physicians, nursing staff, 911 dispatch centers and EMS personnel Must Have Skills Multi-task while still able to demonstrate effective communication skills in stressful situationsPortraying a calm manner with reasoned judgment Other Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Receiving all air and ground EMS radio transmission in-coming to Essentia and relaying medical information to hospital departmentsDirecting authorities and other responders to the appropriate place on campusMonitoring video and intrusion systemsDispatching of internal patient transportation with Transporters and Lift TeamResponding to Lifeline emergency callsEntering data into database systems for information gathering and report generation Schedule: 7a - 3p, 3p - 11p, 11p - 7 , days vary Licensure/Certification Qualifications EMT - Basic, or its equivalent, with current licensure in Minnesota or Wisconsin;Or ability to complete EMT - Basic and obtain licensure in Minnesota or Wisconsin within one year from date of hire Fte 1 Possible Remote/Hybrid Option Shift Rotation: Day/Eve/Night Rotation (United States of America) Shift Start Time Shift End Time: Weekends Holidays: No Call Obligation No Union USWA Technical Workers SMMC (UTECH) Compensation Range $20.85 - $30.92 Employee Benefits at Essentia Health: At Essentia Health, we’re committed to supporting your well-being, growth, and work-life balance.
