Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic medical record keeping and documentation systems.
• Implement structures and algorithms to optimize the use, storage, and retrieval of medical information.

Qualifications

Required:

• With an Associate's Degree: Three years in Health Information Management or Health Information Technology
• With a Bachelor's Degree: One year in Health Information Management or Health Information Technology
• One of the following certifications:
  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
  • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)

Desired:

• Bachelor's Degree
• One of the following certifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • EPIC Certification
  • OnBase Certification
