About the role
The Vocational Services Employment Specialist II role provides support to individuals with disabilities in jobs in their communities. This includes training individuals in job tasks, assessing progress towards mastery, and developing goals and interventions to maximize independence.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or HiSet required; two years of college preferred.
- State of Maine’s Job Coach Training required or achieved after hire.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- One year of experience working directly with individuals with disabilities required.
- Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of Vocational Services – Employment Specialist I role.
- Travel to multiple community locations to deliver services.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.27 to $24.36 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
