Employment & Labor Associate Location: Chicago, IL A leading national law firm is seeking an Employment & Labor Associate with 3+ years of relevant experience to join its growing management-side practice in Chicago. The successful candidate will advise and represent employers across a broad range of labor and employment matters, with a particular focus on traditional labor issues, union matters and employment counseling. The position offers substantial direct client contact alongside opportunities to become involved in professional and business development. Key Responsibilities Advise and represent employers on labor and employment mattersCounsel clients on federal and state employment lawsHandle traditional labor matters involving unions and organized workforcesAdvise employers on issues arising under the National Labor Relations ActRepresent employers in connection with union-related mattersAssist clients with day-to-day employment counseling and workforce issuesDevelop direct relationships with clients and take meaningful responsibility for mattersParticipate in professional and new client development opportunities Who You Are 3+ years of relevant labor and employment experienceLaw firm experience representing employers requiredStrong knowledge of the National Labor Relations ActExperience representing employers in connection with unionsExperience advising employers on federal and state employment lawsStrong academic credentialsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working directly with clientsInterested in contributing to business and professional development Compensation Salary Range: $220,000 – $275,000 Associates are also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
