About the role

As an Employment Defense Attorney, you will be joining a dynamic legal team in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to work on a broad range of labor and employment matters, including high-profile cases and interaction with top-tier clients. You will handle all aspects of employment litigation, from the initial response to pleadings through managing discovery, taking depositions, arguing motions, and participating in mediations. You will also be responsible for drafting and revising handbooks.

Responsibilities

• Lead challenging employment litigation matters
• Handle all phases of employment litigation, including initial response, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and mediations
• Draft and revise employee handbooks
• Interact with top-tier clients and manage sensitive, confidential situations

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school
• Admission to the Colorado Bar
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment law, with a focus on employment litigation
• Experience in drafting and revising handbooks
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to resolve complex disputes cost-effectively
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• High level of interpersonal skills and attention to detail

Pay

$200,000 - $230,000 per year
