About the role
Join Klinedinst’s growing and dynamic team in Sacramento as an Employment Attorney. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in employment litigation, with a preference for class action/PAGA experience. Responsibilities include taking depositions, interviewing witnesses, writing motions, and analyzing employment law matters involving harassment, discrimination, and retaliation claims.
Responsibilities
- Taking depositions and interviewing witnesses
- Writing motions related to employment law matters
- Analyzing harassment, discrimination, and retaliation claims
- Experience with wage and hour class action and PAGA representative claims preferred
Requirements
- California licensed attorney with 2+ years of experience
- Strong academic background and ambition to create an extraordinary career
- Solid work ethic and passion for advocacy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Qualifications
- Passion for advocacy and finding creative legal solutions for employers
- Ready to handle employment cases independently and tackle complex issues
- Experience in structuring discovery plans, taking and defending depositions, managing document-intensive cases, drafting dispositive motions, and preparing for trial

Pay
The pay range is $125,000-195,000 per year, depending on experience. Pay is provided in compliance with SB1162, California's pay transparency law.
