About the role
A growing, multi-state cannabis company is seeking an experienced employment attorney to provide legal support in connection with a new acquisition. The attorney will advise on employment and HR matters arising from the transition, including:
- Employee onboarding
- Offer letters and equity grants
- Employee benefits
- Payroll and other compensation-related issues
The ideal candidate has prior experience working in a highly regulated industry, such as life sciences, and is comfortable navigating the added complexity of a highly regulated operating environment.
Schedule
- Targeting an ASAP start
- 20 hours per week
- Fully remote
- Estimated 1-2 month duration
Pay
The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $100 and $120, based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, relevant experience, client needs, and project requirements.
