Employee Relations Consultant
About the role
This hybrid consulting opportunity will provide critical coverage for the organization's HR leadership team during a leave of absence and will focus heavily on employee relations, compliance, investigations, and performance management support.
Responsibilities
- Handle complex workplace matters while ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to established processes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, navigating highly compliant, process-driven environments with confidence and professionalism.
- Manage employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and compliance-driven HR processes.
- Support performance management processes, including documentation, coaching, and manager guidance.
- Handle complex and sensitive employee issues with sound judgment and discretion.
- Provide proven knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, building relationships and influencing stakeholders.
- Show strong organizational skills with a focus on documentation and case management.
- Operate efficiently in a structured environment with significant compliance oversight and established processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, required.
- 7+ years of employee relations and HR experience, required.
- Extensive experience managing employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and compliance-driven HR processes, required.
- Experience supporting performance management processes, including documentation, coaching, and manager guidance, required.
- Proven ability to handle complex and sensitive employee issues with sound judgment and discretion, required.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices, required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, required.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of an organization, required.
- Highly organized with strong documentation and case management experience, required.
- Ability to thrive in a structured environment with significant compliance oversight and established processes, required.

Pay
The pay for this role is $50-$65/hour. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
