Employee Health Tech (LVN) - Employee Health (Temporary)

About the role

Under the leadership of the department director and assistant director and the clinical supervision of the physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician’s Assistant, the Employee Health Tech assists in treating patients by performing medical supportive services for licensed providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs, administer vaccinations, and monitor patients post medication/vaccination
• Conduct specified testing (e.g., vision)
• Handle office duties such as data entry/retrieval and maintenance of employee health records
• Assist with reception, scheduling, health events, and clerical support
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all privacy guidelines and regulations

Requirements

• Level of education sufficient to obtain a California LVN license
• State of California LVN license required
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
• Familiarity with PCs and basic software (e.g., Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word)
• Ability to accurately enter and retrieve patient data from electronic systems

Qualifications

• Previous experience with employee health, occupational medicine, and/or urgent care preferred
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, patients, and employees

Pay

Pay range: $31.01 to $41.50 per hour (based on years of applicable experience).

• Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $2.01
• Hourly Night Shift Differential: $2.95

Schedule

Temporary position lasting 6 weeks.
