Employee Experience Specialist - Human Resources
About the role
The Franchise Employee Experience Specialist (EES) plays a crucial role in the talent acquisition process and all other Employee Experience functions. Key responsibilities include sourcing, qualifying, and screening candidates, coordinating onboarding activities, and maintaining compliance with various regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform key functions in the talent acquisition process (recruiting/hiring)
- Utilize ATS to document and track candidates
- Provide hiring managers with a qualified applicant pool
- Call/Screen resumes and applications for job openings
- Schedule pre-employment drug tests and ensure all other pre-employment tasks are complete
- Check candidate references, education, and credentials
- Coordinate all applicant activities including job postings
- Keep records of candidate interviews and give status reports to hiring managers
- Schedule and conduct Onboarding for new Employee-Partners
- Maintain New Hire Check-ins, Evaluations, etc. in Company Performance Management Software
- Follow-up with EPs as needed
- Coordinate/schedule New Hire Luncheons/Breakfast and plan fun events
- Ensure that Corporate Communications are distributed as appropriate
- Enter and review data into HRIS and other systems
- Maintain Employee-Partner Personnel/Confidential files
- Oversee Micro Markets and vending areas
- Monitor any issues that may arise regarding refunds, out-of-date products, low inventory, etc.
- Handle employee-partner garnishments
- Notify Corporate Payroll and employee-partner receipt of garnishment
- Upon termination of employee-partner, notify court of termination of employment
- Aid Managers/Supervisors with Worker's Compensation Claims, vehicle accidents, and related documentation and investigations
- Ensure all incident/accident reports and post-accident drug tests are completed timely
- Maintain Organizational Charts
- Responsible for Uniform/Shoe orders
- Short-Term Disability claim processing
- Ensure that all temporary employees are compliant with approved background checks/drug tests
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/HR preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
- Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
Qualifications
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software

Pay

Schedule
This is a regular full-time position with a flexible schedule that may include some weekend work. The exact schedule will be determined based on the needs of the franchise location.
